9/23/2023 0 Comments Tower hill basketball![]() ![]() It was an incredible spring for Quaker athletics as Aubrey Nisbet ’23 won her third tennis State Championship at 1st Singles and the 2nd Doubles team of Tess Wolf ’24 and Anya Agarwal ’25 finished as runner-ups girls' soccer and boys' lacrosse won DISC Championships and advanced to the State Semifinals in their respective tournaments WFS golf, girls' lacrosse, boys' tennis, and track & field all performed well in their State Tournaments and Quaker baseball outscored their opponents 40-15 in their conference victories. Our coaches are very excited about the upcoming season, and pre-Season practice starts August 14th. Noah is a graduate of Rowan University and brings a wealth of experience after establishing a full-time athletic training program at Ursuline Academy over the past 2 years. Noah is excited to meet our student athletes and their families this year and provide the top-level care Wilmington Friends is known for. ![]() We welcome Noah Underwood, MS, LAT, ATC as our new Athletic Trainer. Devon Adams, who served as our athletic trainer for 13 years, has transitioned to the role of Assistant Director of Athletics, and I am thrilled to be able to partner with her in this new capacity. ![]() I’m excited to share a few staffing changes in the Athletic Department for 2023-2024. A copy of the form to bring to your physician can be found here. Medical forms must be submitted electronically via the school website and can be found on your parent portal. Athletes who have not submitted their completed DIAA form may not participate in sports (including practices). All students in grades 7-12 need this form completed before school starts, even if they are not participating in a fall sport. Please note that DIAA forms are due on August 1st….not the first day of preseason.
